PureBeats, not to be confused with Beats by Dr. Dre, are relatively inexpensive in-ear phones that offer excellent sound quality at a relative bargain price. At about $50, these PureBeats feature the flat cable that is currently en vogue. They’re capable phones and the addition of the in-line mic with single remote button is welcome. As is the subtraction of $100 from the Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Tour In-Ear Headphones. While not as fashion-forward as Monster’s phones, they’re stylish and more importantly, do their job well.
