Anyone that owns a PlayStation will be excited to know that the much-anticipated Sony Xperia Play is finally here! After what seems like many months of rumours reporting various release dates, it has now finally arrived in store.
On first glance, the Sony Xperia Play appears to offer a similar design to that of the many other smartphones on the market, however when the device is pulled apart a gaming pad is revealed. This gaming pad offers the infamous four buttons that are seen on the PlayStation controller and allows users to partake in an assortment of games whilst out and about.
Sony has released a great list of gaming titles to accompany the all-new Sony Xperia Play smartphone and all are great mobile games. There are many sought after games on the Sony Xperia Play. In fact the many games available offer extremely smooth gameplay, it is almost as if the user is playing it on an actual Playstation. This is a great device to take on long journey as it will keep the user entertained for hours!
There are links to download compatible games through the Android Market system and the Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Play launcher works as a catch for all the games you have previously downloaded and installed.
The menu on the Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Play launcher is foolproof and extremely easy to use, it also offers an attractive display with great colour. It actually takes quite a lot of its new features from the PlayStation XMB menus and resembles the structure of this particular menu style greatly.
When the games are initially downloaded they will be stored on the Sony Xperia Play’s default phone storage. They can then however be transferred to the external microSD card in order to free some space and keep the handset running very quickly.
